Then, you will be able to see the work that has been done for them. Many times you can instantly see many generations of names of your ancestors.
Once you get names, you can Google them and see what comes up. Sometimes you can find dedicated web sites to a particular name. In addition, you might find a picture of the boat they came over on and other fun facts.
If you are really interested, you can start contacting people and see what information they have. It is fairly likely, that someone has an old journal or even a book of remembrance that you didn’t know existed.
It’s fun to trace your family roots because that will let you know a lot about how your family was located and what makes them who they are.
