Place Records in Four Inch D Ring Binders
Any small binder will run out of space, in a flash, and will also tend to damage documents. It is important, to not overstuff the binder because this can tend to rip the documents.
The reason to use a D ring binder is because they are better on document preservation. You can also fit more documents in the binder.
We use four inch binders because they are about as large as you can get and still manage well. You may want to get some at Costco because you can get a bunch for a good price. When doing genealogy, you will need a lot of these binders.
Again, just like file boxes, there should be at least one four inch binder for each child and each adult in the household. The binder will have the family history trees and the real meat of the genealogy records.
